Description
Playlist
This mod lets you manage all the music from various sources in your game. It gives a playlist interface and playback controls with some simple mod options as well. I actually created this mod originally for 1.4 and was using it locally and privately for over a year now, but I've updated it to 1.5+ now and decided to release it. I hope you enjoy!

Features
  • Playback widget that you can move around
  • Playlist that lets you manage songs from all sources, including mods that add music
  • Rename and set volume for individual songs
  • Set play conditions for individual songs
  • Disable songs from playing entirely in case you don't like songs that other mods add
  • Configure song playback intervals in the settings
  • Hide the widget using the icon in the bottom right
  • Change the widget's background opacity in the settings
  • Lock the playlist widget in place, allowing you to click on things that overlap it
  • Easily see which mod a song comes from
  • View the length of songs in the Playlist Window
  • Sorting options for the Playlist Window
  • Option to hide elapsed time and duration from the playlist widget

Compatibility
This mod hasn't been tested with Music Expanded Framework*, but they will likely conflict since this mod forces playback of songs and changes how often songs play. Having that said, this mod will work with all music that is loaded into RimWorld via SongDefs, so other mods that add music will work with it.

*Users have reported incompatibilities with the Music Expanded Framework, but it mostly works with it.

It should be obvious, but don't use this with Music Manager either. They do similar things.

Custom Music?
I'm so happy you asked. Alongside this, I built a tool that lets you add custom music to your game by generating a mod that you can manually add to your mods folder. Check it out on my Bitbucket here: RimWorld Custom Music Mod Generator[bitbucket.org].

Just go to the Downloads section on the left and download the .exe. Usage is as simple as putting your songs in a specific folder and then running the application. It converts all the songs to .ogg and generates a full local mod for you to install, giving you custom music in RimWorld!

Bug Reports and Progress
I have over 350 mods that I run my game with and never had any problems, but please report any bugs you find to the Issues sections on the BitBucket repos. You can also check the issues to see mod progress. See below:

Updates
Note: Any updates only apply to the 1.5+ versions as the 1.4 version is an old assembly that I can't update anymore because the codebase has been updated for 1.5+.

Please see the Change Notes tab for update details.

I'll consider it, but it won't be a simple change. The way that it works now is with SongDef information. It has different flags for playback conditions. I'd need to write my own conditions for map states like that. That's also why it doesn't work with sequences yet. It's a whole other system that I have to integrate. Lots of work.

Love this mod, was wondering if it'd be possible to add an option to assign certain songs to specific world conditions? i.e. toxic fallout, volcanic winter, etc.?

Awesome. It may have been a “me problem” or a problem with another mod in my list somehow adding music. Thank you for taking a look regardless I appreciate your time.
