Customizable Day Length (P42)

Description
We did it! 90 minute days are now an option in the main game, in 42.10.0, BUT this mod allows you to input any day length you want.

Set your desired day length value located in the Options menu under the Mods tab. This overrides the sandbox day length setting. You can change time conveniently, by changing the value and loading the world. A full game restart is not required. Only a world load or reload.

Vanilla day length settings are limited to a selection of predefined values. With this mod you can type in whatever length you want. Also, changing day length with this is easier and less annoying thanks to the mod options system than it is to do sandbox setting editing on an existing world.

--- For previous version users, please read below:

Your existing saves are NOT damaged in any way from the old version being gone. You will simply need to edit your modlist to include this.

Sorry, I had to rebuild the mod. The old way sucked. It only applied when you entered a world, quit, then reloaded it and every reload after that. It NEVER worked on first load, which is incredibly annoying and seems like a game bug, but now I found out how to make it work properly. This mod now actually works as you would expect. Internally, redundancy was removed and it was cleaned up because now I know how to mod this game!

Can only set the time when start an new Game?

I got quite a bit of mods so there could certainly be a conflict
Otherwise a good work around is to make a 2nd sandbox preset of your desired settings (with just the timescale changed) and then you can use sandbox options (debug or mod) to apply the preset and it'll change the timescale.

For some reason they hide the time options in sandbox settings but still let you override it with presets.

Works for me still. I wonder what could be going on to break it?

Used a stopwatch, tested the mod a few times by saving, accepting, reloading the game etc.
Does not seem to function; either broken or fails to overwrite sandbox settings.

i dont think this mod is functional currently, set timer and reloaded multiple times without any change to how long the days are running.

Thank you for this mod it was driving me insane. The latest update 42.9 somehow screwed up the day length for me.

finally I can set days to 90 minutes. I feel 1 hour is too short & 2 hour is too long
