Very performance friendly and 100% clientside.


Convars
Name
Purpose
mediaplayer_lighting
0/1 - Enables the lighting.
mediaplayer_lighting_shadows
0/1 - Enables shadow casting. Pretty expensive.


Culling based on dot product and util.PixelVisible is courtesy of xalphox 🙏

would it be possible to also make this work when images or other file formats are displayed? i notice this only works with youtube as far as i've seen

This feels very Black Magic for some reason, The way the screen colour reflects the light in real time is very mindblowing! Are actual wizards
