Description
IF YOU HAD SOME LOG ERRORS RELATIVE TO THIS MOD OR WORKSTATIONS BILLS, PLEASE READ THE Q&A!

Mod Version: 4.2

QoL Mod
Tired of crafting items one by one?
This mod allows you to automatically make new Bulk recipes based on existing ones.

How to use
Go to "Settings -> Mod Options -> Make Your Bulk".
  • Add Recipe: Select an existing recipe to create its bulk version.
  • Remove Recipe: Remove a previously created bulk recipe.
  • Copy Recipe: Copy a previously created bulk recipe.
  • Rename Recipe: Rename a previously created bulk recipe.
  • Reset list: Clear every bulk recipes (Restart required).
  • Save/Load list: Allows to save and then load an already created list.

Features
  • BulkUnfinishedThing: Allow partially completed items to be stored and resumed later.
  • Same Quality: All the products of the recipe will have the same quality.
  • Products Multiplier: Set how many products will be produced.
  • Work Amount Multiplier: Set the percentage of the amount of work.
  • Cost Multiplier: Set the percentage of the cost of the ingredients.

Incompatibility
I'm currently aware about these incompatibilities:
  • CookCarefully (doesn't work on the bulk recipes)
  • HardcoreSK modpack (I still didn't test it but I will some day... If you really need it tell me)
If you find any, please send a feedback!

Q&A
Q: Where do I put the mod (in the list)?
A: Possibly, so it doesn't cause any mod incompatibility, before all the mods (when possible).

Q: Is it safe to use in mid-game?
A: Yes, since the mod only adds recipes into the game.

Q: Is it safe to remove in mid-game?
A: Yes, you will only be jumpscared by some error logs if you created the bills, but no worry, it's a one-time thing.

Q: Some scary error logs appeared after I loaded a save!
A: Well, blame me, it probably is because in the new mod update i adjusted the DefName so it matches their base recipe, and so it removes the bill with these "old" DefName. But like when you remove the mod, it's a one-time thing. You can safely re-add the recipe into the workstation and it will work just fine.

Q: I've added a bulk recipe but it doesn't work
A: Please, use the discussion tab and send your form so I can test it and ultimately fix it.

Q: Is it compatible with X mod?
A: In most cases, yes, though if the mod removes some recipe (eg. CE replaces mortar shells), it will also remove those recipes from the list, so it's recommendable to always save the current list if you want to be safe.

Building a statue in your honor in my workshop. Soon as I updated all recipes show up- same recipe list even. Dont know what fight you fought to fix it but your efforts are appreciated

Update 4.2:
Fixed the recipes not showing in vanilla workstations, should work fine with everything.
Let me know if you still have issues (make sure the mod version is 4.2)

You can go on github and download the mod version you need, I'm sorry for these problems, I'll fix them as soon as I find the cause.

Hate to offer bad news but, having the same issue of bulk recipes not appearing in any vanilla workstations.. Tried moving this mod to the top (only below Core and Biotech) as well as all the way to the bottom- reset the recipe list and remade all bulk recipes- all to no effect. No new mods, didnt change the load order before noticing the issue- hate to ask but do you have the Pre update version still available?

Hello Author, apparently my mod sorting messed it up and it now works again after placing after the DLC's and mods alike, still Thank you for concern.

@KeiChen0215 Sorry, I didn't read it properly, it's odd that when you add a recipe it's empty, can you send the logs and the mod list?
AlenDio  [author] 4 Oct @ 5:43am
@Septentrix Ok, I see what you mean with having all of them UnfinishedBulk in the same category. I, though, can't fix it because they don't exist in vanilla, something that you can try is to find if it already exists a mod that does these UnfinishedThingDef, the only thing I can fix (and I'll do it) is to create a new ThingDef for the UnfinishedBulk insted of using the UnfinishedComponent. I'm sorry for not being able to help you completely :BEgloomy:

Ok, I recreated the problem of recipes not showing up, you can easily fix this by re-ordering this mod before every other mod. For now you can do this, though I'm still gonna try to fix it ^^

@Septentrix Thanks for the feedback, I'm going to test the UnfinishedThing and see if it is possible.

@Vanquisher02 @Septentrix I think it is some mod incompatibility with multiple workstation that have the same recipe, I'll test it and fix it as soon as I can.

@KeiChan0215 Yeah, as I said in the Q&A, to fix a problem regarding the recipes, it created another to existing ones (because before it was fixed to be "Make", now it can also be "Cook" or "Smelt" to mantain coherence). I don't understand what do you mean with creating bulk, can you be more specific? (in the mod settings, as a bill, etc...)
KeiChan0215 4 Oct @ 3:16am
In the mod settings, I can't create any bulk anymore as it is empty as heck, and on bills, it seems that the food bulk recipes I made are gone the rest on workbenches are good
