Beskrivning
A touch-up for Environment Pinger, the based mod.
Disable the original mod and all other pinger versions when using this.

Differences:
  • Other players will no longer be able to crash you.
Pinger crashing has been an apparent problem on Klei pubs lately. If you play there often, you should give this mod a try.
  • The ugly data part of pings will be hidden.

  • Two flavor message packs to choose from.
That's right! You can choose between "Naughty" and "Nice" message packs. The first one is relaxed, and the other one is energetic but rude to other players. Both of them already have special quotes for a good amount of things, and there's only going to be more!
Or you could just... make your own lines, I guess.
  • Pings will be highlit in chat.
This is meant to help you find them easier. The default highlight color is green, but you can pick any color you want with Configs Extended!
  • Wrong-shard pings aren't discarded completely.
If someone sends a cave ping while you are on the surface, you can go downstairs and simply click their message. No need to ask and wait for another ping.
  • Waypoints and encryption are gone for good.
Encryption was broken and I did not want to spend my time fixing what I saw as a pointless feature. Waypoint stopped working correctly after a few of my changes, and I needed the RMB action for something else.

is there a way to add a "modifier key" to keybninds so the ping keybind only works if the modifier is also held?

Sadly, I am not able to change the way ping data looks. If I do, then my messages will no longer be detected by the og pinger.

@loopuleasa, the data is still sent through chat but ep tweak hides it. Players who don't have ep tweak will see it.

To reproduce this: Start a new world, make a Deserter, and ping it with only this mod active.

@TomCatGaming, I am going to need the error logs to pinpoint the exact issue, especially considering the mod doesn't crash for me so there's a decent chance it's a mod conflict.

Pinging Lazy Deserters causes the game to crash. Should fix that soon, thanks!
