At any rate, this mod doesn't do anything special outside of clicking the "let's talk" dialogue option until interest runs out so it's unlikely an update would break it unless there's a big change in the dialogue or the way talking to someone works (like multiple options after pressing "let's talk" for example).

After checking further, it's an "issue" with https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3358094700 you can set the option enableLoveOption to true so it follows the game logic of not lowering when afiinity is Love or higher.

Yeah, I overlooked that in the patch notes... I need to look at the new code and see what changed, I'll update tomorrow.

2025/01/06 UPDATA 23.74 say:* Friendship levels above a certain threshold no longer decrease through conversations or brushing, and gain rates are slightly increased.

but now TalkTalkTalk will decrease Friendship levels。

@phoneticdecay
You need higher stats to avoid affinity reduction, or you can use other mods that prevent it from being reduced when talking.
All this mod does is save you the trouble of clicking the let's talk option 8 times.

@phoneticdecay By talking to NPC's with the talk action will increase negotiation and in turn charisma, doing it enough will mean you are more likely to succeed and at high enough affinity you can recruit some people iirc

What is the point of reducing the NPC affinity in this way? Im assuming that there is an in game mechanical reason for this to be needed and was curious.
