“‘Love the Lord your G*d with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matt. 22:37-40
To love all of G*d is to love all of humanity. Love is our work. If there is true faith, we'll be led by it to do such works. To say we needn't change, that we needn't do anything but believe, should disturb you.
"As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead." James 2:26
Our reward is not the satisfaction of being the saved bound for heaven. Our reward is Christ living through us and us living through Christ. So what is more valuable? The most deeply held belief? Or the simple act of love?
“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done." Rev 22:12
