Description
Changes tons of HUD, UI elements, plus more to be either smaller or more pleasing to the eye!
(I spent way too much time on this...)

What's changed?

List of all the changes that have been made:
  • New appearance for hearts and health elements in the UI
  • Tweaked coloring for on ground heart pickups, and devil deal hearts to match this change
  • Improved charge bar that is now located under the item rather then to the right side of it
  • Smaller pickup icons (Coins, keys, bombs, etc.)
  • Font used with pickups has been changed to luamini (the same one the Found HUD uses)
  • Icons for greed mode, hard mode, and disabled achievements have been updated and made smaller
  • Found HUD icons are smaller too!
  • New boss (and miniboss) bar that is much thinner than the original
  • Minimap has been given rounded edges and the coloring for the unexplored room icons have been slightly adjusted
  • Changed most if not all of the minimap icons to look generally better and heavily reduced the total amount of colors used between them all (it is now only 90 colors instead of 158)
  • Changed the question mark that shows up on the minimap during Curse of The Lost
  • Redesigned the "What a terrible night for a curse", and "The morning sun has vanquished the terrible night" popups
  • Removed the shadow of the items that appear under the map to better fit in with the new UI elements
  • Made the effect streak translucent (The thing behind the title and description that shows up when you pick up an item, trinket, card, or pill)

Future plans/to-do list:
  • Make the mod compatible with MiniMAPI
  • Update the crafting UI to match everything else (will probably do this once i unlock tainted Cain and actually get to see how it looks ingame lol)
  • Add support for more unicode characters in the new font
  • Add support for hearts added in Deal Visual Change DONE

Compatibility

Compatibility with Repentance+ is untested, but it should work with Planetarium Chance and Deal Visual Change

There is also now an alt version of this mod with just the heart stuff + the chargebar that can be found by clicking here if you wanted to combine it with some other UI mods.

Credits

This mod uses tweaked/edited sprites from mini pickup n found hud for some of its Found HUD, and some colors from UI Hearts for its hearts/health.

And lasty, what inspired me to even begin making this mod was UI health resprite, as I really liked the general shape, and the dripping effect it used for its devil deal hearts, but thought it would look nicer with a different color scheme.

Is there a way to deactivate the boss bar changes? It conflicts with enhanced boss bars

I need a mod that only adds the stats icons, without the hearts and such, they look beautiful icons <3.

@Guineatown20806 ill get around to adding more modded support for hearts and charge bars at some point but as of now it is a little lower on the priority list because i myself haven't really gotten around to playing mods that add new content like fiend folio yet

@Nuts) sorry for the late response, i was taking a break from working on this and just playing through the game. i made a tweak to just alt version of the mod at the moment that should make empty hearts easier to see in the dark and the chargebar dividers just a little more visible. I'll probably end up tweaking it even more but just lmk what you think of the change

Could you add a bit of mod compatibilty? I am refering to custom hearts here like the ones in the mod "UI Hearts Mod Compatibility", also and more importantly the new custom chargebar doesn't show how many charges an Active item with non basegame charges has. The bar is permanently green on those and the only way to tell if an item is fully charges is by the white outline. This applys to some modded items like loaded d6 from fiend folio. So could you also add a chargebar for active items that have 5, 8 or 10 charges, because those are affected.

Still thinking he outline for an empty hearts is a must, and the segments on the chargebar need to be sliiiightly more.visible, can't usually count the segments when the charge is full, or how many charges left

If possible, could you add compatibility with the mod enhanced Bossbars or make it so the Bossbar resprite doesn't get used when the mod is loaded? Currrently when loading both mods it shows an error message regarding enchanced Bossbars not being able to load correctly, telling me to restart the game and disable mods that alter Bossbars.
