SCP-1025 | The Real Entity

SCP-1025 is a hardcover book, approximately 1,500 pages long. The front cover and spine feature the title "The Encyclopedia of Common Diseases." The publisher's page indicates the book was printed in 19██ by █████ Press. No other copies of a book with that title and publisher have been found, and no record of the publisher exists.

Readers of the book seem to exhibit symptoms of any disease they read about. The effect can take between █ and ██ hours to manifest.

• 10 9 default diseases, each with its own unique gameplay (Diabetes, Common Cold, Schizophrenia, Gastroenteritis, Myopia, Rabies, Huntington's, Asthma, Kleine–Levin).
  
• Paranoia effect in the proximity of the entity: more players in the near area, the greater the chance that paranoia will affect you.
  
• Immersive disease selection menu integrated into the entity
  
• Multitude of integrated sounds and effects for the best possible immersion.
  
• Customized menu for adding or deleting diseases (dedicated section further down in the description).
  
• It also have SCP-500, that cure all SCP-1025 diseases.

First of all, the entity's proximity effect:

• If at least 3 players are in the vicinity of the entity, the paranoia effect begins.
  
• A player in the immediate surroundings may be affected, making him or her suspicious of all other players, believing them to be contaminated by a disease coming from SCP-1025.
  
• The more players there are, the more likely a player is to be affected by paranoia.

Regarding the entity itself:

• Players can select the disease they wish from those available.
  
• Selecting one will open its description, and the player will be subjected to the disease as read.
  
• Symptoms may vary depending on the disease selected, from dizziness, vomiting or sneezing, to blood sugar management or hallucinations.

Props Menu → Utilities → SCP-1025 → Settings → Add custom diseases

Four fields must be filled in:

Simply the name that will be displayed.

The description that will be displayed on the page.

This is the name of the specific method (without brackets). Several conditions must be met, as indicated by IG.

A name used to identify the disease. Use a simple name with no spaces.


Props Menu → Utilities → SCP-1025 → Settings → Remove custom diseases

Select one of the custom diseases you've added to permanently remove it from the list.
