Agatharia is a land torn by war; fifteen years ago, pillaging invaders from the north landed on the resident Aeglish shores, but whereas previously they would take the booty and flee; now they came to stay. They call themselves Fjorlings, but to the residents of Agatharia, they are known by a stranger name; Badgers, on account of their striking black and white war banners.

Dennain’s history is one of conquest, faith, and fracture. It began with the Dowerdein, who worshipped the ancient Dowerdragon until they were joined by the Tannenjutes. This peace was shattered when Dennathur, a Kar-King, led the zealous Dennainlings across the sea, sparking two centuries of brutal holy wars that pushed the native tribes to the fringes. Now Dennain is gripped by brutal civil war, as the Roseling royal line and the rival Christiaansens battle to secure the Crown for themselves.

The Trolls are a mysterious and despotic creature, scions of the sleeping Aulderdragon. Worshipped by the fanatical devotees of the Troll Cult, their wretchedness is only outshone by their insatiable hunger. They are generous with their boons, and reward adherants to their cult with uncanny abilites, but beware... should their gnawing bellies grow restless, then your very soul is at stake!
