"When civilization ends, it ends fast." Civilization collapsed a little under a month ago. The dead roam the remnants of the old world, and survivors of the apocalypse struggle to make it day to day. Walkers are slow but a constant threat. Loot isn't too rare, but not too abundant, either. Zombie respawn is set to the lowest, making clearing any one area truly rewarding. Taking back the world, however, won't be easy.

As far as I can see, this is the closest to The Walking Dead (COMICS) the settings can be.
