I've known these people and worked with them for years, we have zero tolerance for neonazism and nazi-adjacent behavior. I think you're jumping to wild conclusions with little-to-no supporting evidence of this. To call this performative activism is to automatically assume my intentions are bad faith by nature of it simply being in a community where the majority of its playerbase are of a different mindset.

I don't agree with your stances, and as such I will continue to do what I do because while I do not stand to gain anything from making these addons, I do it to foster a welcoming community for people I know and support. Bring what you want to see in this world to the table.

@Neosun I'm not talking about people speaking up in support, I'm talking about people like you specifically who do this performative bullshit to shield all your nazi buddies from criticism. At this point the entire gmod workshop is connected to or ties back to nazism in some way. Making these goofy addons won't solve, help, or fix anything. Denouncing your fellow addon creators will. Ignorance is no excuse, the nazism of people like Nekyo-Ko, Bloodycop, and all their friends (which extends to Arctic, Zippy, and pretty much any big addon creator) are the worlds worst kept secret and extremely well documented. If me, an amateur addon creator whos done fuck all in this community can be exposed to this shit multiple times, then certainly the bigger names like you know all about it.

Furthermore, you're the first I've ever seen state that people speaking up in support makes a situation "worse". Is it because it causes arguments and uproar? If that is the case, the only way to truly stop arguing is to be complacent and submit to your oppositions impositions against you. I would rather not live in a world where I have to live a way I don't want to because the people around me tell me they think it's wrong.

If nothing is said, nothing will happen. However, when you look at what's going on within the current state of "nothing" in the Garry's Mod workshop, it is dismissive by default to those of progressive ideologies. For that reason, I am voicing my opinion on a platform that I enjoy to state that I am in support of these people with progressive ideologies being in this community. I am not obligated to port anything to MWBase and doubly so not obligated to make content specifically for ideologies I directly protest. It isn't that I don't care enough about the matter to not do it, it is rather I do not use MWBase and don't take enough interest in it to learn its workflow under the hood. I am practiced in Arctic's style of workflow and thus have fluency in it. I welcome anyone to take assets from this and use them in any way they please that isn't in bad faith against what it represents and gives due credit in the description, including porting it to MWBase.
