Actually I encountered Great Beak Things (GBT) pretty often already, but they never were that much of an issue until recently. I only supposed it might have something to do with the fact they were elders, since, I think, I only ever found adults, up until now.
Could it be that there's been a recent change to elder great beak thing spawns?
Can't tell from the post in the discussions tab.
I'm asking because I've never encountered one before in my current playthrough but
as of recently I essentially can't leave my leviathan coast base anymore due to it being surrounded by, at times, up to three elder great beak things.
These are so OP that they are essentially game breaking with their stats between 130-150 and a health pool of a leviathan. The area seems a tech hunter mass grave and my endgame squad of five characters with 85-95 combat stats gets decimated in seconds. Even with most damage being mitigated by armor.
I like the idea of the great beak thinks and am all for a challenge,
this however makes the game unplayable.
I never got around to doing this myself, glad you're carrying on the legacy lol
I meant near already existing ruins. Like spawn a nest with one ancient great thing boss and some treasure near an existing ruin. (kind of blood spiders or the mega garru that spawn in ruins)
I haven't discover all map yet. I didn't discover all the map yet so i don't know exactly the best place, i imagine gutt or the grid?
About an ancient beak thing boss. I better avoid that for now for now for compatibility sake. A new ruin may clash with something
Can you remove beak things from Shem, so they don't massacre the nomads?
And add an ancient beak thing in gutt or near certain ruins?
