To find out more about the Separate Infantry Squads, navigate to the "Learn" tab and open the "Units" page. Click on the "Available subtypes" filter and select "Separate Infantry Squad." The emblem for these squads features an "A" with a crosshair behind it. These squads are also referred to as "AI" squads, as an "AI" label appears above their heads when they are spawned.
These squads have certain limitations: the individual members cannot be controlled, their inventory is inaccessible, and they cannot transfer items using inventory mechanics. However, this mod removes those limitations and modifies the squad logic to function as standard squad logic.
To test the mod, apply it and then open a new lobby. Select Battalions PvP, Battalions PvE, or Combined Arms, then choose an infantry battalion or a division. Fill the available slots with Separate Infantry Squads and start the game. You will have full control of these squads during the game.
