Description
This was my first mod ever, made in 2011, It's not very good, but you may find it somewhat enjoyable if you are really craving classic half-life 2 gameplay!

The steam version has been updated to include a few fixes, such as improved lighting and shadows, along with a few small rebalances/gameplay improvements, but otherwise its been relatively untouched since its original version back in 2011.

You are a citizen taking shelter in some sewer system, somewhere in the outskirts of City17.
You receive news on the citizen radio that the combine have repurposed an old military missile, which is being launched to destroy the whole city!
You've decided to take on the job yourself to find it, and destroy it, whatever it takes! Or maybe do something more sinister instead?..

same dude from gmod saying that this first map was to good to be first so uhh its a great map not gonna lie the npcs was fun killin em over and over cool ending idk what to say just cool

This is THE map 10/10 i love it especially the small detail filled driving sessions and the ending
the map also gives plenty of supplies ensuring you arent unarmed yourself

i didnt realize that the place that the missle was/is going to was City 17 until i started nocliping around and finding the Metrocop Ambush lol

Yeah the sewer part was reused in ptsd mod as like a callback to this mod, being my first ever mod.

For a first mod this is definitely one of the more impressive ones I've seen. Obviously, if we're leaving that bit out its far from the best or even good, but this is something to look back on fondly.

IK square sewers are a bit generic, but i'm pretty sure you reused some of the sewers from this in PTSD mod.

For those browsing the workshop: if you got a soft spot for "First mods" or "first maps" or "newbie mappers", this is worth checking out. If you're a big fan of Ethosaur's other stuff it might be worth checking out as a novelty thing. If you're looking purely for a good/great HL2 mod, its prob safe to skip over it.
