Description
Improved Automatic Transmission by NeX

This mod improves behaviour of automatic transmissions on all SCS trucks to be more realistic. It changes gears based on the imput, meaning if you apply small ammount of throttle it will change gear sooner or if you press throttle more it will change later.

You MUST use it with either steering wheel or gamepad. It doesn't work on keyboard since it needs precise imputs.

You MUST set Adaptive Automatic Transmission to either "Normal Power" or "High Power" if you want to have kickdown.

Supports all SCS trucks.
For modded truck support is coming in future.

It is compatible with sound mods that use standard SCS Def's for their engine sounds, i won't support custom def's from sound modders.

It is not compatible with "Drivetrain revision mod's by galimim", maybe in future if galimim wants it.

I just bought the Turtle Beach Velocity One steering wheel set up at BestBuy at the membership discount. I still have to put it together and install the software, but this mod should work well with it.

@geoffccripps Hi, I made a quick hotfix, download from link below and put it on top of the main mod. It should work now. I will put it in main mod later when i reinstall ATS

HI Thank You For Replying So Quickly :steamthumbsup: , I Was Runing At The Time An VNL 860 With A Cumming 525 Engine , But When I Tried To Select a Truck In The Peterbilt Dealers That's As Far As I Could Get It Would Crash Before I Could Do Any Configuration Sorry .

Thanks for reporting @geoffccripps , can you tell me on what engine it causes to crash ? You can try to reproduce it trough truck viewer from menu. It will help me, probably made a typo somewhere.

Hi @NeX , Hope All Is Well ?, Sorry To Be The Bearer Of Bad New :steamsad: But i Spent 3&1/2 Hours Reintroducing Mods Last Night Because Every Time i Went InTo The Peterbilt Dealers My Game Would Crash , All Other Dealers Was Good ,Anyway After Reintroduding This Mod Which By The Way i Lov And Trying Several Times It Is Definitely This One ( Sorry ) .

Had a crash occur while playing with quick job trucks, on a profile that only uses this mod. When hovering over the Western Star 49X with a 450hp engine and a 13 speed transmission, the game crashes. Disabled the mod and was able to look at this truck again without crashing.
