'Aquila' translates from Latin into 'Eagle' The Aquila (Eagle) was a prominent symbol used in ancient Rome, especially as the standard of a Roman legion. Each Legion carried one Eagle. The Aquila MRCA Fighter is The Libertas Legion's only eagle.

The Aquila Multi-Role Fighter has served the Libertas Legion valiantly ever since LSLN Forces sprouted into the galaxy, taking part in many battles and scoring victories on ground, in the air and in the galaxy. The newest modernization project by the Legionary council has given the Aquila a modern sleek make over, efficient storage and space optimization allow for more performance for less resources. The Aquila will serve the Legionary long into the future.
