States That Make Sense

Description
States That Makes Sense is a mod that tries to improve the game map in terms of its states, provinces and demographics.

This mod uses GIS Based Map by 月見里タカユキ as a base. Please thank and give credit to 月見里タカユキ for the amazing physical map!

This mod is intended to be used with Miniature World. Using this mod without it is like eating spaghetti with your hands: nasty.

The current version of the mod (1.0) has added and/or reworked these states:
East Slovakia (reworked)
West Slovakia (reworked)
South Slovakia (split from East and West Slovakia, added)
Carpathian Ruthenia (split from East Slovakia, added)
Upper Silesia (split from Silesia, added)
South Tyrol (reworked)
Trentino (split from Tyrol, added)
Saxony (partially reworked)
Thuringia (Split from Saxony, added)
Luxemburg (Split from Wallonia, added)
Romandy (Split from West Switzerland, added)
Holland (reworked)
Northern Brabant and Zeeland (formerly Gelre, reworked)
Limburg (split from Northern Brabant, added)
Friesland (reworked)
Gelderland (split from Northern Brabant and Friesland, added)
Delvidek (reworked)
Western Banat (split from Delvidek, added)
Banat (reworked)
Slavonia (reworked)

As research and planning is the primary time consuming factor in the making of this mod, I implore users to join the STMS Discord to give feedback, suggestions and help me with research. I am going to focus on Europe first, and then move on to Africa, so if you are, for example, from Asia, NA or SA, then your suggestions will take a while to be added to the game, but they will eventually be added. This mod is compatible with version 1.8.3.

Regarding compatibility: This mod should work with mods like BPM and UH Warfare, but any mods that add resources to some states or that use states to reflect some kind of gameplay should probably be tweaked via compatch.

@Lev3e1 If you see some historically examples (ex : carlist war with Zumalakarregi), the discovers like de Hand of Irulegi (near Pamplona/Iruñea), or the battle of Ronceveux, you will see that Navarre is part of basque territories, and it's aways been basque. Or another lecture can be that all the basques territories as part of Navarre ;-)
Moreover the actual mayor of Pamplona/Iruñea is a basque independentist.
The historical goal of the central state (Madrid) has been to separate all basque territories.
And as you say, you can add the french part of Basque Country.

magui84, Beautiful states cannot be compatible because my mod uses OpenGIS. Zarrom, I will give it a go. Everyone else, sorry that the compatch is taking time, i have irl stuff going on.

Thank you for your mod; it makes the game so much better. Since you are planning on updating the mod, do you think you could fix the water rectangle in the area of the African Great Lakes region? Unfortunately I don't know if the original maker of the GIS Map Mod will update it and fix that problem. Thanks once again.

I plan to update, it's just taking a bit. A lot of manual work made much worse by my previous questionable coding decisions :D
