I want to give my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who has stopped by, left a comment, or played my mod. It’s truly a joy to connect with you, read your feedback, and respond to your thoughts.
When I started getting into Half-Life: Alyx modding back in 2023, I did it because I was looking for a way to feel connected with other passionate gamers. Your active interest in my mod has given me that experience, and it has carried me through everyday life for months now.
I wish everyone reading this all the best.
With my best wishes,
Jedipunk
Thank you so much for your help.
The game is impossible to beat.
So many camera robots are coming at me, I don't have enough ammo, and I keep dying.
It's no longer fun in the long run.
But otherwise, it's very well done.
There are 3 ladders in this mod. The first two ladders are in the main hall. However, the standing ladder is just decoration. The second ladder becomes accessible later in the game and lets you reach the upper floor. The third ladder is in the Operations Room with the map. This ladder only works if you manually grab it and climb it. To do that, you need to enable handclimbing ladders in the menu. Unfortunately, the teleport function does not work with this ladder.
I really appreciate your interest in playing my mod and hope this helped you. Have fun!
Hello! Usually, you can install the mod by simply clicking the "Subscribe" button on this page. That’s all you need to do. When you then start the main game, you’ll be able to select and play the mod.
I’ve found a video for you that explains in English how to start a mod:

For this specific mod, look for "R.P.D First floor".
(If you prefer a language other than English, I can try to find a guide in your preferred language.)
What a great job! I had a blast playing it, and basking in the RE2 nostalgia. The additional things added to make it Half Life driven were fantastic, as well.
Do you have any recommendations of other maps with this much polish?
