Realistic Drivers

설명
Hello! This mod edits the traffic_data definition file in an effort to adjust the AI driving behavior to be more realistic.
In my game, I have noticed that AI vehicles will often go out of their way in an effort to hit you, such as slamming on the brakes, merging into you, willingly driving into you for no reason etc.
This is my edit to make the behavior more realistic, as I've found the default AI behavior to be rather immersion breaking at times, and downright frustrating. This mod was created on and will work with the 1.53 branch and will be continuously updated for new versions. Compatible with traffic density mods, and other mods can be higher in the load order than this one. Thanks and please let me know if you have any feedback :)

Yeah, my experience matches @KaloChen. As far as the 'quick exit' drivers right in front of me, I think that's the price you pay for the other good things. And you can see them coming. 90% of them zip right on ahead of me and I don't even have to hit the brakes anyway.

@KaloChen Thank you for the feedback! I've been trying to dial it in to improve the vehicles pulling out from junctions but haven't been able to have much success without changing the rest of the behavior. I experience that as well. I adjusted my driving so if I see a truck that's going to be merging onto my road I either slow down and let them in, get over a lane, and floor it and beat em to it. Lol

Been using this for a couple of weeks with a realistic traffic density mod, around 25 hours of gameplay. It definitely improves vehicles entering and letting you enter freeways, traffic is overall smoother and slightly less buggy. Seems to make everyone drive faster too which makes everything slightly more realistic. The only occasional problem is cars pulling out of junctions right in front of you, no collisions yet though. Saw one semi stuck across train tracks but that's not this mods fault I don't think, more to do with the dense traffic. As long as this is updated I'm going to keep using it, adds immersion and an extra touch of realism. Thumbs up.

I'm stacking this with Cipus' Real Traffic Density (Real Traffic loaded first), and it is (so far) smoothing out the bad behaviors while giving me traffic to share the road with. They're not so aggressive in crowded traffic, but, yet, they clear out more quickly, and there are less wrecks, and, if they do have a fender bender, they're likely to work it out themselves and get things moving again. Less 'stuck and reload' definitely so far. We shall see how it goes.

Does this mod fix the problem with drivers not braking when merging onto highways?

There are games for sale on Steam which are 100% about selling illicit stuff. It's a mission feature in GTA. A standalone black market mod would be awesome. Jobs from the south and any waterside area, Texas, Cali etc. Could integrate other mods. Some comments regarding such a mod I've found around the web;
"That would pair nicely with the GPS option for small roads",
"This would work really well with the viva Mexico mod",
"I remember one such mod from Steam Workshop a couple of years ago, installed it too.
It consisted of three trailer skins, depicting a scruffy, old curtain slider.
The cargo was called "Illegal Goods" or something similar. Rewards were higher but so were traffic fines if you were caught speeding or got in an accident etc."
