The mod's lore is based on the premise that, first, Napoleon did not declare himself emperor but remained a staunch republican. That's the starting point. From there, events unfolded differently. The Spring of Nations happened earlier. In the American Civil War, the Confederates emerged victorious. The First World War took a different course. The central idea is that everything started with Napoleon, and like a snowball, events continued to escalate, eventually leading to the First World War, which lasted from 1913 to the end of 1920.
