Description
Hello there!

Not a fan of the real time building mechanic during siege and minor settlement battles? Would you rather focus on managing your troops, or keep the AI from constantly rebuilding annoying towers? If that's the case, then this mod right here is the one for you!

Note: This is a re-upload and update for pre-existing mod: "No Real Time Building" by fraggenburg. I actually used to use this one myself, before was it seemingly deleted or removed by it's original author. Thanks to Krinitz, we've recovered it and I've updated it for all the new DLC and patches! I plan on keeping it up to date, as I think it's an extremely valuable gameplay customization mod for TW:WH3.

CHANGES:
  • Temporary Towers & Walls buildable with Supplies can now ONLY be built during the deployment phase for Siege & Minor Settlement Battles. In other words, after the battle has started, both the Player and the AI can no longer build in real time, nor are Supplies something you need to manage during battle anymore.
  • Sources of Supplies everywhere have increased significantly, in order to place the emphasis that the building & preparation happen before the battle had even begun (i.e. during deployment)

Main benefits to these changes:
  • This works for both the Player and the AI, balancing out your convenience with your enemy also receiving the same benefits & restrictions.
  • Less micromanagement during battles, which is especially key given how drawn out some Siege and Settlement battles can get.
  • Can be combined with most other buildable tower mods, like my other tower mod that reduces the range of the buildable towers in siege and settlement battles: Buildable Towers Reduced Range

TODO:
  • Update UI and text to denote/make it clearer that Supplies are only a pre-battle resource, not a live one.

COMPATIBILITY:
This mod should be relatively highly compatible, unless they also modify towers and walls in a way that overlaps this one. It is possible to be enabled in the middle of an existing campaign, as well!

TESTING:
Tested mainly during patch 5.2 in the Immortal Empires Campaign.

I have a suggestion, why not remove the army losses modifier for the defender during a siege with this or a similar mod and make it where, should an unit rout, it'll simply move to the city center and regroup like in older TW games?

can landmarks prevent the mod from working, cuz i noticed the "defencive suplies +XXXX" don't show up in castle reikland landmark its shows the vanilla message.

Officially these optiions are not announced. I mean that some mods including this one have such good quality that they shall become options in vanilla game, if developers wish implement it. For now, some "quality of life" mods from TWWH 2 and units mods from TWWH1,2,3 have become official TWWH3 mechnaics and dlc units, but no more than that.
