Annie, yes. That's why I love CRPGs, because every time I breathe a sigh of relief when I see that the story continues despite the loss. And the screen doesn't go blank and offer you to download your last save... This kind of story development is still development.

In most (if not all) CRPGs getting arrested is not the worst thing that can happen, and there usually is a way out.
