You ever hate something at first but then realize it's amazing? That's this guy. Kinda fucks with the unwritten rules of the game with analyse being a built in frame kill button on predicting move type but I love it, almost feels better than getting a parry at times. Solid gameplan for building Crit angle and Bleed, the puppet controls aren't too easy but when managed right makes you feel untouchable, surprisingly weak if you end up in an unfavorable spot but a fucking MACHINE when you get them under your thumb with a good blockstring between you and the puppet. And yes this absolutely slaughters if you don't DI correctly or at all, as it should, especially with the HP regen on Crit. Makes a character with an extra 25% dmg taken feel surprisingly tanky if played well, but only when you play well. I'm still just learning the guy after someone (looks down) pulled some funky moves with them that made me actually interested in the character, so far really good showing!

The only text based info available in the match that I've seen was that it says "you can't defend or grab"
Doesn't seem like a defensive move either, does it increase damage maybe?
There's no info in the codex or description here, about that specific move if that's what you mean.
