Description

~ Get drunk in style with Dragon244's Alcohol Overhaul ~

EMERGENCY PATCH 1.4.0.1:
- You can now ACTUALLY run over critters.
- You can no longer mow down the Eternia Crystal in a golf cart.
- Bound NPCs can no longer be run over either. (But keep an eye on that feature in future updates)

Update 1.4.0 is Here:
- If you get drunk or intoxicated and hop behind the wheel of a Golf Cart, make sure to stay away from small animals and children.

Future Plans:
- Re-adding Oktoberfest event
- More drinks
- Withdrawal system
- Hangover system
- Making intoxication more engaging
- A super-secret special way to play in "Perma-Drunk" mode
- German language support
- Drunk meter and Drunkness level tooltips on items

With this mod you can:
- Drink a little, if that's your preference
- Drink a lot and get super drunk
- Drink until you die, then drink some more!
- Stop drinking and get sober, so you can drink later

With this mod you can't:
- Get your ex-wife back
- Gamble
- Get other people drunk

Hey, @Dragon224, have you seen the alcoholic beverages in the Calamity mod? They're pretty awesome, and perfect for cross-mod compatibility with your mod! Here's a link to the wiki: https://calamitymod.wiki.gg/wiki/Potions#Alcohols

Thorium also has one new alcoholic beverage: https://thoriummod.wiki.gg/wiki/Etherian_Grog

PS. Perhaps you could even take inspiration from the special effects of Calamity's alcoholic beverages when making your own alcoholic beverages - each of Calamity's alcoholic beverages have an upside and a downside, and having buffs from too many of them at once inflicts the player with Alcohol Poisoning ( https://calamitymod.wiki.gg/wiki/Alcohol_Poisoning ). It's great. :)
