NEWS
- We're back actively bugfixing; thank you to Ravinglegend for your testing and detailed analysis!
- Multiple baby issue is still occurring. If someone could provide an error log when it occurs, that would help. I am trying to replicate (I did fix one instance that I did manage to duplicate) ... it seems to occur when a stillbirth happens
... probably a mod conflict.
- Seeing some weirdness in certain scenarios regarding skin color. Researching.

Here it is, the one many have been waiting for. Updated for 1.5, now Humanoid Alien Races compatible.

Original mod notes (1.4):

Allows you to use Biotech's growth vats to grow clones asexually from only one donor parent regardless of fertility or age, copying their entire xenotype.
Also includes an optional mutations system where clones have a random chance to gain genes on birth. Settings allows you to customize overall mutation chance as well as which genes are eligible for mutation and how likely each gene is. Defaults are mostly negative mutations.
Includes a system for cloning xenogenes from the donor pawn, and even allows you to design the clone's genes directly using the Biotech gene bank system.

Under development, everything seems to work but there are likely to still be bugs and oversights. Please report bugs on the steam page.

Compatibility
- ***Requires Biotech DLC.***
- **Compatible with Humanoid Alien Races.**
- Should be compatible with Questionable Ethics Enhanced, even though they do the same thing in different ways.
- Incompatible with multiplayer at this time.

Future plans
- System for copying traits, skills, and maybe more
- Clone mood maluses.
- Ideology memes/precepts related to cloning ethics?

Fix for the "Infinite Baby Bug": I also use Rimdark 40K mods which were loaded below "Biotech Cloning (Continued).

So load your mods like this:
Rimdark 40K
Biotech Cloning (Continued)

For me it was only Rimdark40K causing these issues. But I put the Cloning mod to the bottom of my modlist just to be extra safe.
Hope I could help :)

Any update with the infinite babies issue?

Could not get the gene loss bug to happen again, so no idea what caused it. Tested restarts, progenitor no longer being on map, etc. Just works normally now.

Mod settings however consistently reset on game restart however.

post a discussion with the log in the debug console not sure if will help but here you go.

Can confirm, mutation settings seem to reset on restart.

Other oddity, wondering if anyone else is having: Babies have no genes except the clone gene, if their progenitor is no longer on map when they are finally cloned? I made some embreyos of prisoners before releasing them, made clones later, they are marked as the proper xenotype, but missing the genes.

namely mutations

some of the settings appear to be resetting.
