Horseshoe Curve Contemporary
10 items
Description
Norfolk Southern year 2012 on Horseshoe Curve.
On an early summer morning, travel from just outside Johnstown to South Fork. Slowly following caution signals and stopping.
Player AI: EMD SD45

For this collection of 10 scenarios, I have added or blocked a lot of cars, to make the route more contemporary. I have added more trees; and covered some sidings with grass where appropriate.
I have also used a few Norfolk Southern locomotives. See the DLC list below.

Do NOT need Southampton-Salisbury Extension!

Best if played from under the 'Standard' scenario Tab not Workshop.

Route: Horseshoe Curve
Duration: 31 minutes Difficulty: Medium
Scenario: Standard

DTM: EMD SD45 (ACTIVE)
TheLocoShop: EMD SD60E (ACTIVE)

And for the Amtrak Pennsylvanian (ACTIVE):

Hi arktiem, I am not sure if it is a glitch the 12.8mph, but I found it to be realistic on the incline having stopped. The load may be the 2 loco's limit - which as you say made it fun. I wanted this one to be an 'impeded' run up the incline. I had been creating a few clear runs and needed to change. I like the sound of the EMD SD45. Cheers

An excellent and challenging work order, my friend. That stop for a red signal was a speed killer. Had to wait awhile before picking up speed from 12.8 mph! That's what made it fun! I also got worried when coming around one curve... I wasn't sure if there was another one, but I quietly said to myself, "Now you stay away from the track Miss Bovine and we'll both live another day." Thanks for another really fun and mooooving run in the mist! Take care and... on to the next one! :choo::chooo::choooo:
