Horseshoe Curve Contemporary
10 items
Description
Norfolk Southern year 2012 on Horseshoe Curve.
On an early morning in the fall, travel from South Fork to Johnstown.
Player AI: SD45

For this collection of 10 scenarios, I have added or blocked a lot of cars, to make the route more contemporary. I have added more trees; and covered some sidings with grass where appropriate.
I have also used a few Norfolk Southern locomotives. See the DLC list below.

Do NOT need Southampton-Salisbury Extension!

Best if played from under the 'Standard' scenario Tab not Workshop.

Route: Horseshoe Curve
Duration: 23 minutes Difficulty: Medium
Scenario: Standard

Extra DLC (Developer & Loco pack):
DTM: SD45 (ACTIVE)
TheLocoShop: EMD SD60E (ACTIVE)
RSC: SW1500 Switcher
RSC: EMD GP9
DTG: GP40-2
And for the Amtrak Pennsylvanian (ACTIVE):
RSC: P42DC (locomotive)
DTG: Amtrak HHP-8 (Amfleet cars)

US Loco & Asset Pack
European Loco & Asset Pack

I hope you enjoy it.

Please let me know what you think of the scenario.

Hello tonix,
Yes this time a winter morning. I like the snow on the SD60E. It looks great.
Great to hear from you. Thank you.

Hi arktiem,
Great you enjoyed this winter one a lot. Now I know how much you enjoy chronological scenarios so much, I will do a few intertwining scenarios at the end of the collection - maybe in winter too.
I abandoned the idea of swirling fog on the water in this one. It just didn't work well enough and the location was problematic - which I won't try and explain in this comment!
On to the next one.

Another epic scenario where weather was front and center! I really enjoy the bad weather runs, as I have mentioned from time to time. And running it all in reverse made it even more fun! Thank you so much, my friend. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Oh, and I forgot to mention in the previous run... one thing I absolutely love is having the elements of the previous scenario in the following one! That is so cool. I loved passing the Pennsylvanian in the first, then driving the Pennsylvanian in the second and passing the coal train you ran in the first! Just love your ingenuity. Hope you and yours are all well and happy! And so... on to the next one! :choo::chooo::choooo:

Great you also enjoyed this one crlynch. It would be nice if some developer could do an Aussie line.
There is fantastic potential to do one to include the area where the Trainfest side by side race is held. How fantastic that would be. Imagine recreating that!, 4 different steam locos side by side! Cheers again for your feedback.
