An active version of the previous map gm_cosmodrome. Made after a request/suggestion.

The map features a large space shuttle hangar with many explorable areas within it. There are also many other buildings around the hangar. You may control the hangar doors, sound an alarm and more. Unlike the abandoned version of this map, there is more furniture and props as well as decals. Find radios across the map and listen to space music!
And unlike the previous map, the walls are brand new.
The map was inspired by the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, part of it abandoned with the space shuttles and the rocket of the Buran program left behind.

Note from the creator:
This map took a lot longer to make than initially expected, firstly because I wanted to finish another map
(gm_hinamizawa) and secondly because college started again for me, meaning that I had to study. I worked on this map bit by bit and finally decided to finish it this week. To all of my workshop page followers, I'm sorry if you were expecting something brand new. I simply do not have the time. My mapping ambitions were derailed this year, I must prioritize education over hobbies, unfortunately. However, I am trying extra hard to squeeze out extra free time by succeeding on my exams and studying in advance. I have at least two to three brand new maps planned (not a remake like this map), all with varying degrees of complexity and size. Thank you for your patience!
