Devastator

The successor to the Razorback anti fighter gunship. The Devastator has an increased crew compliment along with nearly double the firepower of her progenitor, along with boasting an unmatched acceleration and maneuverability for a ship of her size. The design of the ship allows for sustained fire both forwards and broadside. While her engine cluster remains rather less defended, she has proven time and again that this matters little in a fight where speed, agility, and overwhelming firepower brings victory. the Devastator class does not carry a jump drive or manufacturing, relying on support from other ships for jumps and ammunition production and comes equipped with extendable landing gear and lower docking connector, and three flight deck connectors for fighter escort or other crafts. She does however come with increased hydrogen production compared to the Razorback due to the aggressive use of hydrogen thrusters, which provided her with an excellent service history both in space and planet side. The updated design of the Devastator comes with build and repair systems, while other models provide shields and upgraded power storage. The Devastator has defended and survived against the Reavers invasion and the unification war against the Corruption, while being heavily damaged several of her model have continued to fight long after many other ships would have been lost. The Devastator may not be flashy, but she provides exactly what she was was made for... devastating the enemy lines.
