Simple "fix" to armor: I added [padded], [reinforced], and [sneaky chain] variants to Cargopants (colored), Halfpants (colored), and Dyed Trousers, available in the same places where you can find the vanilla armored clothes. Same is true for the blueprint.

I explicitly used the same weight and stats as vanilla. This was just to add some variety to character building, and I figured I'd share.

Obviously works best with one of the many clothes dye mods that others have already uploaded. Here's the one I use!!:

UPDATE: Added the ability to craft [sneaky chain] using the chain armor bench, since vanilla [sneaky chain] enables it. It requires 0.4 fabrics and 2 chainmail sheets, instead of the 2 fabrics the clothing bench uses. I don't recommend anybody use it.
