The Lost Fleet (Playable Faction)

Description
Terran-based Faction from my first playthrough.

Thought I might share this with anyone interested in fighting against or as it.
Highly mobile small ships, some specialize in drones or missiles. Then capitals which utilize lots of railguns or plasma mortars.

Might make more if I feel motivated enough, as I've only made one station design for them lol. Otherwise, the last 2 capital ships are over 8000P and you'll need (the mod I forgot its name) to freely upgrade P if you want to use them.
Not the prettiest designs or the color, though I'll make some lore about them for sure as to why the grey color palette.

I am currently making their own unique palette set and this faction will be remade (but their names will not be replaced), once that is complete, I will label this as a Legacy Faction.

Lore

Lost in the depths of the Galaxy, an armada of warships lie dormant until they were awakened by the Sentinels when they investigated a mysterious signal. They appeared near the center of the galaxy, wiping out anything that crossed their path. Not even the most powerful Sentinel warships could match them, and so, some began calling them, The Lost Fleet. Recent battles uncovered their technology, they were not of this galaxy, any attempts to reverse-engineer it were fruitless. Most believe this civilization that the fleet was a part of could warp to galaxies millions of light years away, and their capitals' warp drives malfunctioned, leaving them stranded.
Once they were awakened from their slumber, they now are at a perpetual war against all factions for survival.

    Planned Characteristics

The Lost Fleet is a early and late game faction, I plan to split their ships into "old" and "newer" designs. However, they are all aggressive towards all factions, once you've aggro'd them, you will have a slim chance of escaping.

Older or "outdated" ships are considered unshielded with a weak internal hull but may vary based on ship type and role. These are the most common ships you will find outside the center, but still, older ships must be taken with caution as they are the most numerous ships in The Fleet.

Newer ships are shielded or have strong outer hulls, mostly important capitals and some newer ship designs. Even a corvette could pose a threat to other capitals but may vary based on role.

    Corvettes, Frigates & Gunboats

The "smallest" ships of the Fleet and dropping into specialized roles but most Corvettes and Frigates are armed with numerous point defense and dual-purpose AA guns to defend capital and larger ships.
Heavy Corvettes and Frigates have less AA and mount specialized weaponry to deal with larger threats.
Gunboats are screeners and scouts, most often accompanying the others as they provide additional firepower while being highly mobile, however, they lack point defense and AA emplacements.

    Destroyers

The most numerous ship class, being highly versatile and suited for any role. Albeit, slightly less mobile than the Frigates and Corvettes, most often times being escorted by a few of them as scouting parties. Destroyers often deploy their own fighters (drones) but some sacrifice that ability to harbor even more firepower on the Heavy Destroyers.
Destroyers are most numerous escorting capitals, as they can be deployed by them in great numbers.
The most deadly destroyer sub-classes include the Artillery Destroyer and the Siege Destroyer.

    Cruisers & Battlecruisers

Larger and heavier, Cruisers mount different weaponry compared to the smaller warships seen with the Lost Fleet. Ranging from Coilguns, Railguns, Mass Drivers, and Laser-based weaponry, most Cruisers lack smaller weapons due to mounting these but all have an array of AA guns. Cruisers are capable of deploying Gunboats and Corvettes to aid them on both offense and defense.
Command Cruisers are considered capitals and utilize cannon boosting technology while having the most powerful mass drivers and spinal mounted weapons.

    Battleships & Carriers

Boasting the heaviest armament The Lost Fleet has, Battleships are self-sufficient, able to wipe out most threats by themselves. A task force typically consists of one battleship and a multitude of other smaller ships. Sometimes they will be paired with a Carrier for an "Annihilation" operation. Battleships carry the largest and fastest railguns but some specialized battleships carry the largest cannons, their downsides being massive and long main battery reloads. However, their numerous secondary and tertiary armaments are able to shred anything that's not well-equipped.

Carriers deploy numerous fighters and bombers, while having a lighter armament, their airwing is seemingly infinite, even the lightest of carriers can prove to be a headache for other capitals. The dreaded Fleet Carriers can deploy Cruisers and due to their importance, their shielding are nigh impenetrable, only the Sentinel nuclear warheads are able to effectively damage them.

    Dreadnoughts
These are not balanced, well mostly lol, they are not supposed to be with the "Fleet" that appeared, they guard homeworlds.

In the forges of the unknown, Dreadnoughts represent the pinnacle of raw firepower. Even the classification of "Light Dreadnought" is to not be taken lightly. They possess every weaponry and harbor "star destroying" weapons aboard their hull. Most Dreadnoughts are outfitted with "broadside cannons" to unleash a devastating volley against any capital. Due to their massive size, their mobility is limited and are often used to siege solar systems.

This is an important note: I do not plan on actively working on the faction day to day, I will work on it when I feel like it or else I may feel burnt out. This is my first mod after all and I may do some major changes during the time I am working on it. I do not know when I will complete it.
