Description
This is just a fan-made update, not official.

What are the changes:

The level design of the old map locations has been completely changed:

A lot of new models have been added, there are now traces of carnage in the police station,
the skybox of the map has been changed to a darker one, as in the initial screensaver when loading,
Added more junk to the map to give it a more atmospheric look.

New places have been added to the map: the dining room at the police station,
New rooms have been added in the house through which we get to Mickey's garage,
a new area has been added to the map that leads from Mickey's garage to the main entrance to the police station.
Added a pizza house, and jewelry store on the streets of Brooklyn where you can search loot.

Changes little detail:

The spawn of the players in Mickey's garage has been moved to the new rooms of the house on the added floor.
Added secrets places with loot.

Now Mickey is an NPC, and not just a model, he will turn around and talk and run to his van.

Several variants of Mickey's clothes have been added.

All spawned zombies from standard spawns will be replaced with my variants zombie, zombie cops and swat zombies will spawn in the police station for the most part, civilian zombies will spawn on the streets for the most part, instead of the old classic zombie spawns.

Minor changes to the quest line:
The door with the lock now needs to be cut with welder and not broken,
Now Mickey is tearing down the gate with a car, you don't have to carry the hook anymore,
The car that had to be pushed to make way, now it needs to be repaired and refueled, then started so that it goes out of the way itself,
a canister refueling and tools should be found in new areas.
Near the final gate, remove the anti-tank spikes so that Mickey can drive through.

Zombie change:
New zombie models have been added, And they have new abilities, + new animation added.
Abilities: Some shambler zombies may become enraged at the sight of the player, let out a roar and become runner zombie,
Some zombies instinctively remember how to use weapons: Now some zombies in the military past and zombie cops have guns, + animation shoot.
Civilian zombies can have melee weapons, Zombies with heavy melee weapons such as an axe or a fubar can also be encountered, + new animation use weapon and walk.
Crawler zombie now be punches instead of bitten.

New NPCs added:
Rats, crows: rat will usually run away from zombies and from the player, Crows can be seen in the sky. (added for decoration).
Gang: There were hints on the official map of the presence of bandits on the streets of Brooklyn, now they are on the map,
bandits are hostile to both zombies and the player, they meet in 3 places on the map, spawn only once at the start of the map.

Added new soundscapes to the map:
There are 5 options for each place, for the street, for the police station, for the parking of the police station, and for the house with a spawn, as well as for small places like a shop and Mickey's garage.

Warning: it may not work correctly on servers with poor optimization.

Changes in v1 version:

The contents that caused the previous version to be blocked has been deleted.

Reduced the size of the map by removing the excess (to the maximum).

The gang with cz858 remove the ability to use melee, because sometimes it leads to crashes on map, Instead, I added the ability for them to shoot in a crouch position to eliminate crawlers zombie.

There are now more simple zombies and national guard zombies spawning at the end of the map.


Changes in v3 version:

Corrects the position zombies weapon, which was shot down in last update.

Minor changes in spawning after leaving Mickey's garage, in the previous version, due to the large spawn of zombies, the map could crash.

I'd really appreciate it if you could point me to where you learned to make special zombies and npcs.

Vro I have over 300 hours what are you talking about. The player reverse speed is not fast enough to do such a move reliably. That, and you don't even give players a long reaching weapon until well after you've fought quite alot of them. That and you know the go to way to kill zombies is to shove first, use charged attack or let the weapon your hold deal with the reach. And you can't even do the last 2 reliably on this map because you start with a god damn kitchen knife. It get's even worse if the zombie holding the tonfa is also armored. And what about the armored and shooting zombies. Whats the strat for those? "when you see a zombie with a gun, get out of the way." Ok just let me phase through this wall cuz it's a linear map and there is no "Get out of the way" option.

Your problem is that you just don't know how to play, you don't even know about the mechanics of "hit and back" because if you knew zombies with tonfa wouldn't be a problem for you.

Ok man look. The level design is rather good but other than that the zombie types are complete doggy doo. Armored zombies, shield zombies, and worst of all zombies with guns are NOT fun and sapped any enjoyment I had playing right out of the map. That and the zombies with police batons cannot be instantly shoved, so they get a free hit on you every damn time unless you kill them in one hit first. The environmental story telling and level design is cool. But my god man the zombie types literally ruin the whole thing. 3/10, getting shot by a zombie in nmrih1 is not fun.

i love this more than the devs version because of the level of detail and zom types some even useing animations from land of the dead road to fiddlers green best map

fair enough, but are you planning to make a map similar to broadway? I really think new york maps are the coolest. You barerly see them in source
