This mod adds the ability to spawn in various visual effects which are tied to a static object. The intended target of this mod is the server dev / admins / event team.

Effects included in this mod so far are:

Fire: Creates a flame / heat / damage
Smoke : Slightly tweaked helo crash smoke column of various colors
Fog: Creates fog of various colors within 100m radius
Pillar: Light pillars of colors
Over Here Arrow: A giant arrow made of particles for events when players can’t find anything
Other : For now it’s just some colorful orbs floating in to a central point

There are multiple ways this mod can be used to spice up your server. FXStone object cannot be interacted with by a player. Below is a non exclusive list of ways to have a player witness these effects:

Placed as part of a prefab. If you know your way around DayZEdit then you’ll have no problem placing them where you want to. Added benefit of this method is you have live preview of the effects

Spawned in via in game admin tools. Even though the stones cannot be picked up or damaged, you can use tools such as VPP to spawn them in at cursor location. They can’t be moved once spawned in, and won’t show up in ESP. They can be deleted manually by looking at it and hitting delete

DayZ Events. Can be fully used in static or dynamic events

Central Economy. Even though they are not actual items, CE gives control of spawn / despawn

Remote admin tools. You can use any tools that allow for spawning of items on the player's location such as cf_tools

All fire effects will damage player and their equipment, so don’t spawn on players that are just standing there. Or do.

All spawnable object class names end with _fxstn suffix. See mod’s readme for complete class name list.

Monetization: You are free to use this mod on a monetized server as long as none of its contents are behind any sort of paywall, and all features are equitably accessible to all players.

Repack: You are allowed to repack this mod in any way you wish as long as the 1) above mentioned monetization policy is followed and 2) you credit this mod where appropriate to either DecayRP or Comrade Sythar (if the first one seems as an advertisement).
