You always need to attach the model to the stand (joint tool first selects the model and the arrow goes to the base), and not vice versa. This is important. Most likely a bug with the color of the models where the base was the first object in the coupling. Well, and at the same time set the graphics to maximum.

what bases do you use? and what do you attach to what? the figure to the base or the base to the figure?

So i figured when i have the blackening of figures problem, is when i combine them with a base, and base has black color, after loading the figure becomes black, but every copy of that figure becomes black for somereason
