Nara Class - Freighter (RE2)

Today, we at V-Industries present to you a special sort of build, one that we take absolutely 0 credit for in its design. Although we are ship builders, we like to think of ourselves more as Ship Enthusiasts. When we see a ship we love, we cant help but admire it, learn from it, and use these designs we have seen to help mold our next creations. This is one such ship.

Presenting to you, what we have named, the Nara Class - Freighter.

A welcome little Starter CV for any would be Trader or Freightsman to start their work out in the galaxy. She was recreated piece by piece by our Founder based off a Polaris ship design she found long ago on the planet of Akua. Unfortunately, that ship was in less then working condition, of which the kindly Polaris traders refused any sort of help from her to repair it. None the less, she admired the ship so much that her design of the Nemesis was inspired by this ship.

The Nara comes in at a cheap CPU of Core 2. That's right, Core 2. She is a small ship after all. She has some room within to upgrade with higher specks, although we don't recommend. While she is fitted with several light turrets, such as Gats, Flak, Missiles, and even 2 Plasma Turrets on her side nesceles, her main role is that of a Freighter and is advised to be kept as such.

Having x4 Container Controllers within, 2 caping at 100k and the other 2 caping at 250K, as well as various cargo pallets and Framed Commercial Containers, she can hold a far amount of resources, enough to get one started in a sector or begin a Trading business to save up for that big cargo freighter of your dreams!

She is slightly upgraded from the original as we adapted her with a Warp drive and two rear thrusters, something the original did not have, but otherwise kept the design as authentic to the original as possible.

As her intentions, we at V-Industries cannot stress enough to NOT take her into any combat what so ever, or at least minimal combat, as our Founder discovered that unfortunately that a Nara class is VERY susceptible to Bandit ships equipped with Drone Pads, (RIP the Bounty, may she rest in peace).

Being that this ship is originally of Polaris make, we at V-Industries were, regrettably, unable to confirm the existence of any such ships in service by Polaris. Thus the name, Nara Class, was given to the ship as a place holder classification, and thus went unnamed officially. In fact, we are not even sure if such a ship of this design was ever used by Polaris, is used by Polaris, or was previously used by Polaris. Thus, we created it to allow its use amongst other wayfarers, pending any lawsuits by the Polaris trade council, of course.

Regardless of legal ramifications, thus concludes our showcase for this day, and as always, continue to be on the lookout for more coming in the near future here at V-Industries and the Grey Corporation.

Potential Upgrades:

Room can be made inside for a Mobile Shield Emitter, at the cost of some internal space. Additional CPU's can be added behind the Warp drive, at the cost of some Container Extensions. She is a starter CV after all and is meant to only get you a fit in for bigger and better ships.

It was a delight to recreate from scratch! We did our best to recreate the LCD's as close to the original as possible, and we do not take credit for those either.
