The laststand.sav file is probably in here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<your Steam user number>\56400\remote
Check there!
Asked a friend, he said that he has a vanilla version without mods. Guess I have all my saves in the Steam cloud because I can't find the "laststand.sav" file on my PC.
In a few days I'll try installing the game on a non-system drive, apply a couple of fixes for the sound bug and see if the multiplayer works for me or not.
For some reason, I didn’t see such errors in Retribution.
The "unknown joinEvent error" happens when there are different versions between players that happen or just some bad internet connection.
Either way, my advice is to save your game's LS progress (laststand.sav) and then make a clean install.
What is AE?? I'm not familiar with that term.
I'm also received "unknown joinEvent error" along with bug what game can't recognize my Last Stand progress. Just wanted to play with a friend online.
Could this be related to the fact that I installed AE on the system drive C in the Program Files/Steam folder?
everything says its running and it up on my taskbar but nothing ever pops up on my screen
