The 'Blood thirsty Tiger' Indian hardcore legend Tiger Jeet Singh.

As one of the most-feared heels of Professional Wrestling, Tiger Jeet Singh's intimidating presence, aggressive brawling acumen and ring entrances made Tiger a household name across the globe.

In Japan, Tiger would terrorize audience members and Wrestlers alike by swinging his trusted sabre sword through the crowd during his entrances. While a noted Wrestler stateside, Tiger's popularity in Japan is mythological in nature. So much so, that Tiger's feud with Antonio Inoki helped catapult the then-struggling New Japan Pro-Wrestling's viewership tremendously with an angle many Japanese viewers thought was real ...to the point that local authourities were called in to question the ensuing (and scripted) brawl that took place in Tokyo's Shinjuku district.

Fearing their local hero Antonio Inoki was finally going up against an opponent that could literally kill him, fans flocked to New Japan Pro-Wrestling to watch what many believed at the time was a life or death struggle between Antonio Inoki and Tiger Jeet Singh.
