Description
Tired of having to go back to base or a to a hospital between every mission? Well, not anymore!!
For starters, this boat is powered by 2 nuclear power plants, which means it's not limited in range by fuel capacity (it does need a bit of time for the reactor to warm up on first start).
Thanks to the large on board infirmary and additonal seats, it can carry the rescued casualties of multiple missions.
The forward deck can be lowered, and you can carry about 16 passengers on land for quick transfer to a hospital from any beach or similar geography. The ambulance is a battery EV with easily 30km+ of range.
For faster response, a jet boat can also be deployed from the front deck. This one runs on diesel and can be re-fueled on board, at least 6 full tanks worth. It goes about 50kts.
The main boat itself runs at 30kts albeit consuming a bit more electricity than it produces. This is why the "Overdrive" gear is off by default, but it can still run with it for a long time needing very rief pauses to fully recharge. The "Cruise" gearbox can be de-activated for more accurate maneuvers.
A sub-marine crawler can be found on the rear deck. Note that this crawler has no in-built way to sink or float, and has to be aised and lower with the crane (remote control inside, channel is 1 by default). So make sure to attach it to the crane pulley before lowering. It is a equipped with q simple Mag All and a welding torch. This has proven sufficient to haul shark cages and repair underwater cables.
Lastly, the crane can be used to haul other loads using the mag claw on the starboard side. This claw needs electrical power and therefore needs to be connected to the shorter medium winch. Use hotkey 3 to swap winches while in the control seat.
When in the arctic region, the steam power plant will start struggling. You then need to go into both reactor rooms (key code is displayed behind the starter key) and set the control rods insertion to about 0.275 instead of 0.3.

Can you make it faster? Also maneuvering thrusters (small props on both sides of the stern and bow) would make this 10 times better.

ATTENTION: BUG REPORT: There's a potential bug with the jet boat where, if you turn, the forward throttle gets stuck and the boat moves at <5 knots.

this is amazing! i mean- not really the hospital part but its like my new base! ON WATER! I really love the speed boat and the ATV or wtv u wanna call it- im new to the game and i think this is my top fave water-craft
