Cadian Guard

This class features the Cadian regiment of the Astra Militarum, His Imperial Guard, the anvil upon which the hammer of the Astartes is struck. They are the fighting men and women of the Imperium, and they will die by the score to secure His victories.

This is an almost exclusively ranged class, with a heavy focus on artillery and human wave tactics. Mines and settlements are of extreme importance, with the arrival of an Ecclesiarch permitting the advancement of blessings to be placed upon those seen worthy in His righteous gaze. The presence of the Mechanicum is of equal important, as it is only through the tireless work of the Enginseers that the armored fist of the Guard may be brought to bear on Elysium.

Note: Because Conquest of Elysium uses unit names, instead of IDs or the like, to reference data, this mod is almost guaranteed to be incompatible with the Imperial Governor mod already on the workshop.

Necrons have been idly in progress since I started on Mechanicum, I simply never finished them. Too much of one metal color gets rather boring to draw after a while.

Is there a maximum to the number of fuedal troops a settlement will produce? Some of them have huge numbers of them right now.

Fair enough. They aren't the same thing as earthshakers I suppose.
Any feasibility on giving us the chance to select which kind of leman russ we want to build instead of it being random?
I like that sponsons are customizable!

Also excellent range on the leman russ as well, I love that you included the annihilators. I quite miss having more of these sorts of options for 10th ed 40k.

The artillery pieces and weapon teams are fulfilling the normal ranged unit role for Guard, given that all their actual riflemen are frontline. Also, due to their sheer numbers, rear-ranked artillery would frequently just not be in range.

There’s always more stuff to add eventually, I’ll likely get to the abhumans and elite infantry at some point
