Description

STATUS: Stable
Adds a Ready or Not Style Morale and surrender system to ArmA 3

Why:
To Improve the Close Quarter battle (CQB) / Close Quarter Combat (CQC) experience in ArmA 3 and make it into something similar to Ready or Not.

| MECHANICS
  • Gives you the ability to make enemy or civlian AI surrender.
        - You can lower the AI's 'Morale' in various ways.
        - You can: Detain, Detain (body). Order Follow orders, Move them in/out of Vehicles and Carry or Move captives.
        - Zeus Modules: Detain/Free captives, Deplete Morale and disable the system on a unit.
        - 3DEN Attributes: Disable the system on a unit
        - See CBA3 Settings for more extensive options!
  • Custom keybind to 'Shout' and order Surrender of an AI unit
        - Default keybind: CTRL + 4
        - See Addon options CONTROLS To change the keybind!

What lowers 'Morale' ?
  • Any of the following can lower a units 'Morale'
        - Shouting/ordering
        - Firing near them
        - Them getting hit
        - Them Being hit with melee or blocking a Melee attack (IMS)
        - Explosions (example: flash-bangs?)

Q: Does this mod work with IMS, ACE3, LAMBS or VCOM AI??
A: Yes.

Q: Does this mod work with other X mod?
A: As long as it doesn't try to do the same thing and cause overlap of mechanics.

Q: Can your mod do x?
A: Please READ the workshop page and check out the CBA_A3 settings in-game before asking questions.

Compatibility:
Will automatically exempt any of Webknights units from the morale system expect Melee AI base classes, because you might use those for riot control style missions.

Hey @Phenosi, I figured it out! The problem was solved by disablind the hit animations for AI on the Death and Hit Reactions by Webknight. Somehow both animations, death and surrender, was playing at the same time and glitching out. So if someone has the same problem, get rid off Death and Hit Reactions or disablanimations for death AI. Thx for your attention.

@Phenosi I mean that almost everytime I kill a enemy,with a headahot for example, instead of their bodys just lay on the ground, they kinda glitch and play the surrender animation. In half a second later, the animation ends and them they die. I'm using ACE medical with a slow chance of them being unconciouness. But I don't think that ACE is related with that. Can I send a video on Discord for you to check it out? I really want tonuse this mod, but atm is breaking the immersion.

Hey Phenosi, I really liked the mod, but at the time I'm having a issue with it. The problem is that almost everytime I fattaly wound a enemy and they play the surrender animation and in a half second they suddenly die. Like sometimes they already at the ground and kinda glitch out to surrender, and sudden death. That's killing the mod for me, I've already messed up with the morale parameters and still couldn't make it work propperly.

Update is out!

FIXED:
🛠 Fixed a major issue where actions would not appear after units surrendered.
🛠 If you're still experiencing this issue, repair the mod via the launcher to force an update.
