The whole animation ought to render you invincible.
In the .dir it basically just turns off damage detection on entering a dodge and turns it back on when you leave the dodge. It's very generous with the I-frame time.
So if you dodge when they start the swing, you should be more than fine.
Trust me, those I-frames have helped me out a ton in maps. Now y'all get to use it too.
