No More Bombing Weather

Description
This Mod disables the Planes bombs from doing any explosive damage(aka duds). Also removes the hardpoints from the planes so they wont launch rockets/MGs. Please let me know if you get attacked by a plane with this mod.

I have combined 2 methods, changing the set\stuff\bombing and removing the hardpoints (bones) from the models and removing the weapons and ammo from the .def files for each plane. This should stop any kind of air attacks besides the dud bombs.

Tested for conquest all nations and a few MP matches ( please let me know if any issues arise within a gamemode/mission type )

Feel free to translate/redistribute/copy/add to your own mod

then re-name the copied mod folder, and its .info file as well as the text in the .info
then in your new local mod folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call to Arms - Gates of Hell\mods\'YOURCOPIEDMODNAMEHERE'\resource\set
you can delete the whole set folder.
This would give you a mod that only removes hardpoints/'bones/weapons from the planes, but you may be bombed.
Or you can try and keep all the set files except for: air_bomb_ger_250kg_mp which I think is player used.

@Stirlo Yes that is part of this mod, I wasnt sure using my first method; removing all 'bones' and .def weapons would work. So I also changed the aircraft bomb(all aircraft bombs) to 0 damage, similar to other mods. But this mod uses 2 methods.
If you want to re-instate the bomb damage you should be able to create your own mod editing the files in this mod.
If you go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\3329561975
and copy these files into your own local mods file found here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call to Arms - Gates of Hell\mods

Hi mate, playing conquest and my bombs are dropped but don't explode. 50kg. Let me know what you need for testinf=g

You would need to remove the weapons in the .def file in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call to Arms - Gates of Hell\mods\'YOURCOPIEDMODNAMEHERE'\resource\entity\-vehicle\germany\airborne
for each faction, replacing germany with w/e faction.
inside that folder will be each german plane.
inside each plane folder is a .def file, replacing the {Weaponry
section with this:
{Weaponry
}
will make it have no weapon

And you would need to do this each time you update Horten's mod.

Ok thank you, I just verified my files. By default Germany has 2 messerschmitt bf109s, my mod removes all default plane's hardpoints.
Horten's likely either overwrites these same planes, or adds new variants that my mod doesnt cover.
I believe mod order matters, changing the order where my mod is above or trying below Horten's may work.
But removing all hardpoints for planes in Horten's would probably be needed to remove all planes from attacking you in that case.
You could copy the Horten's mod, rename it and its mod.info file. Then copy it into your local directory for the game, in the mods folder:(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call to Arms - Gates of Hell\mods\) and then edit each of the newly added planes within the mod and use that new edited version.

I was playing as USA against Germany and the plane I believe was either a stuka or a messerschmitt
Hashashin Fida'yin  [author] 14 Sep @ 3:23pm
@voj Do you remember what kind of plane/ what faction you were attacked by?
This mod manually edits the planes to remove the 'hardpoints' of each plane; taking a look at Horten's it adds new planes, so those added planes will still have weapons/hardpoints.
Ill take another look at the files and see if I missed any new planes. By default there are only 1-2 planes per faction.

It mostly works but I did get attacked by MGs, it could be because I'm using this with horten's
