So correct me if I am wrong but this does not increase stack-size limit but adds additional slots to the chests so that you can put more items within a chest but does not increase the amount of items that can stack on a given slot greater than what exists for default. It still accomplishes the same task but are different.

increasing stack-size limit would still require more chests while increasing the amount of slots within a chest decreases the amount of duplicate chests you have created thus allowing for more room to build by merging those "duplicate chests" you would normally have out into 1 or 2 chests instead of 4 or 8..

This sound about right?
