"Birthed by the hivemind due to the need to establish Air Superiority in its campaign, this behemoth poses quite the danger for any daring captains who dare venture too far into Ancient Tide borders. Often seen stalking in storms, many times the last thing any captain hears before their death is its thunder like roar."

The Ares is the first airship of the Ancient Tide faction, named after the Greek God Ares, and based on an Orca whale. Well armed, well armoured, and maneuverable the Ares is quite capable in its price range, having a good track record against similar vehicles such as the Tarpon. The Ares is equipped with 3 main Plasma cannons, 1 AA Plasma turret, and an array of heavy and medium sized missiles.
