Oschersleben 2023

Summer 2023 I started a "proof of concept" project. The goal was to scan and measure a racing circuit and model it completely from scratch.

And one year later here it is, a highly accurate version of Oschersleben 2023, up to cm precision.

This really is a one man project, from scanning the track, taking pictures, processing the data and of course modeling everything. It took a lot of time and effort and will take more time to completly finalize the track.
There are many objects and crowds still missing around the track, so see at as a testday layout.
My to do list is long, but I think the track is in a decent state to drive some laps and having fun ;-)

(Some standard textures like grass, gravel, foliage or road were taken from free S397 tracks)

Hey mate! Thanks a lot for this track!
Unfortunately there's an issue - you can loose the lap on pitstop in online race. There's couple other circuits for rF2 that has the same issue. Can you fix it please? Thanks!

Hello Heikki, great track which we have just used for rounds of our BTCC and Porsche Cup championships. The BTCC race was fine but on the Porsche Cup race a couple of drivers got Drive Through Penalties. When they went through the pits to serve them it didn't register them completing a lap so they went a lap down on the rest of the drivers. Thanks.

Si bel lavoro, ma chiunque passa da box non viene contato il giro.... la zona di conteggio giro è al momento solo in pista, invece va allungata fino a tutto il box........ attualmente questa pista è buggata......... sistematela al piu presto, altrimenti inutile la pubblicazione falsata.... se volete aiuto chiedete pure....

Thanks @Heikki21 for your kind feedback. The track was judged fabulous by all the riders, so great job. We are waiting for your update until 22.12. If we don't see any updates, we will insert some speedbumps. You will understand as organizers that we cannot have people train on a track that allows cuts and then change it a few days before the race ;-)

Hey @GhegoRiders. Actually they are not fake, they are just not collidable ;-) I know that the track limits are very soft. It was my plan anyway to make them more strict for the chicane, so you can expect an update for that before your event ;-)

Hi Heikki21. We have to race on this circuit 08.01.2025.
They pointed out to me that at this point of the track, you can cut it and it doesn't give you a penalty, but worse still, the deterrents are fake. Can you do something in the short term?
