Kuru2Shrooms - Better use for Brain Disease

Do you dislike default Brain Disease (Kuru) mechanics? Do you wish it were something, anything else? Then look no further.

Kuru 2 Shrooms is a simple mod that transforms a minor vanilla annoyance into a psilocin driven journey of self discovery.

How it works: This mod adds psilocin to Amanita and Psilocybe Mushrooms, repurposing the BrainAgent system so no code goes to waste.This mod also makes it so human steak and its associated gizzards are no longer carriers of an extremely rare prion. Now they are just food, if you’re into that sort of thing.

This mod takes full advantage of vanilla digestion mechanics so how fast and how long effects last depends on the mushroom’s state (quantity, dried vs raw, etc).

What does it actually do? The active portion of this mod induces minor camera effects along with rare audio and visual hallucinations. Visual portion consists of a randomized collection of custom particle effects only visible to the player but all are fairly transparent and may not be obvious at first. Screenshots would ruin the surprise.

Server Owners: This mod comes with three items designed for admin or event team use.
Psilocin Syringe = Injects roughly equivalent of one Psilocybe Mushroom into a player, food object, or liquid container of your choice. The amount of psilocin will be distributed out to target food based on its quantity. Same with liquids. It is also possible to sneak up and inject players.
Psilocin Detector = Similar to blood test kit but will tell you how much psilocin is in the player's body. 1 agent roughly translates to 1 second.
Psilocin Nullifier = For when you’re tired of the effects because you ate too many mushrooms and are now tripping for days.


Compatibility: This mod should be compatible with pretty much everything that does not touch Brain Disease. It does alter properties of above referenced mushrooms to minimum extent practicable.

Monetization: You are free to use this mod on a monetized server as long as none of its contents are behind any sort of paywall, and all features are equitably accessible to all players.

Repack: You are allowed to repack this mod in any way you wish as long as the 1) above mentioned monetization policy is followed and 2) you credit this mod where appropriate to either DecayRP or Comrade Sythar (if the first one seems as an advertisement).
