I did not port these maps, and all the credit goes to the Hit Deadlock Modding Community. This guide would have not been possible without them porting the maps you see here.

1. Scroll down and download the map file from the sections below in this guide
   
2. If the file you downloaded is an archive file like .zip/.7z, extract it to your desktop. The final file should end in .vpk
   
3. Open Steam and go to Deadlock in your library
   
4. Click on the settings icon, then Manage, and click Browse local files
   
   
5. In the new window, navigate through these 3 folders
   Go to game, then citadel, and then maps
   
6. Move the .vpk file(s) you downloaded from your desktop to the maps folder
   
7. Should look like this
   
8. Go back to Steam and open Deadlock

1. Open Steam and go to Deadlock in your library
   
2. Click on the settings icon, then Properties, and then add -dev to the launch options
   Should look like this
   
   
3. Now start Deadlock

1. Open the Deadlock main menu
   
2. Press F7 on your keyboard
   
3. In the new window, type
   maps *
   This will list every map you are able to play
   
   
   
4. To start a map, type and run
   map MAP_NAME_HERE
   Example: map de_dust2_cfork
   
   
   
   
5. That's it! If the map is valid, you should load in!

Make sure your friend who wants to join you has installed these custom maps too!

This is the earliest Deadlock map we have ever had access to. This was the original map back when Deadlock was named Neon Prime/Shadowline and had a sci-fi art style. There was a transition period between the full sci-fi cyberpunk theme and the one used now, so this map is mix between both art styles.
The map has been partially restored. Deadlock contains remnants of this original map and Lamarrite has managed to restore most of it. It's still a work in progress and I'll update the download link whenever they are done with it.

Keep in mind the modding/mapping community is in it's infancy, so there's a chance these maps might not work properly in the future. I will update the guide if they break.
