HIMS Triumphant Sentinel

A more modern design than the many anti-aircraft conversions filling Pydrinck's fleets, these vessels are dedicated to clearing the skies and keeping them that way. With a considerable number of heavy guns for its size they have gained a reputation for considerable instability in harsher seas, but these same weapons allow them to blast away most aircraft swiftly with their specially lightened high-angle mountings, permitting them to track even agile targets capably. Their capacity for surface engagements is not disregarded either, their deck guns supplemented by a pair of torpedo launchers, rendering them devastating at close range. Despite their wide-ranging versatility, they remain largely unproven by the rigours of large scale conflict; should they emerge unscathed, they will likely form the basis of many more vessels.
