I have been looking through accepted weapon finishes for MP5-SD and noticed the lack of camouflages and decided to create a Mil-Spec finish, featuring different camo patterns and some more tactical parts that are used in modern combat, airsoft games etc.

The main idea of this tactical part is to absorb heat. It prevents the mirage effect and also keeps your equipment and hands safe from burns. It also hides the silhouette of your weapon since it usually has some sort of camo.

This subtle window can give you quite an advantage in combat situations. It allows you to see your ammo and unlike the transparent mags that are usually made of plastic this one has a solid metal base which prevents unnecessary damage.

Having delved into the mechanics of how camouflage is created in real life, I began constructing alternative colour palettes that would match any sort of environment.
There are also different materials present within the skin itself, from the metal base, to the spray painted camouflaged effect, to the silencer cover ups that also showcase stitched fabric material with strings used to hold a real coverup.
